Today we put some stakes and cages around some of the tomatoes. We'll finish up the task this week.
I forgot to take my camera so a photo update will come later. The bed was still moist under the top inch or two of soil. We decided to leave watering to the next visit. The plants generally looked good and probably liked Saturday's higher temperatures. Today the fog is in.
One plant seemed to be showing some signs of trouble, possibly the tobacco mosaic that we believe afflicted Golden Beauty. We pulled off the leaves that were starting to look thickened and shrunken and disposed of them off site. (and not in the compost pile or the city's greenwaste bins.
